I love autumn. This is my favorite season. It's a 2nd Spring without mosquitoes or other blood-sucking insects trying to drain my blood out of me. It's when I can start wearing sweaters and/or jackets again. The craziness of the summer is left behind, and the bitter cold of the winter is yet to come . . . like a colorful "eye of the storm".
Let's go and explore the surroundings now, shall we?
| Behold, the School by the Sea (and church) |
| Dew drops on leaves |
| The school's billboard, with the office's address. |
| Another view of the school/church. |
| More info for all curious. |
| Cat at one of my students' house (married couple with kids). | |
| I like this cat. Oh, the couple's youngest son gave me that pear. It was good too. |
| Oh, aren't we cheeky. |
| More drops |
| Along part of the Parsęta River. |
| Another part of the Parsęta River. |
| Along Unii Lubelskiej |

| Looking down Sybiraków |
| Coming to park 18 Marca |
| Green & Yellow . . . reminds me of the Brazilian football team. |
| Park 18 Marca |
| Right beside the Regional Center of Culture on Reymonta |
| Autumn gives a kind of charm to rusty sculptures, doesn't it? |
| Regional Center of Culture in Kołobrzeg |
| Beholding Zdrojowa's golden frame. |
| Looking back before crossing the pedestrian bridge over the train tracks. |
| View from the pedestrian bridge over the train tracks. |
| Let's go directly to the platform. |
| Who thought sewage pipes could be beautiful? |
| Welcome indeed |
| That's actually the main post office, believe it or not. |
| Memorial across from the post office. |
| I look forward to the day I'll be able to read & understand that. |
| National emblem: eagle |
| We're back on park 18 Marca |
| Doesn't that tree look like something from Dr. Suess? |
| Oh, what's this? I must go and check it out . . . |
| As of now, all I can say is that "Listopada" = "November" |
| Basilica (main) entrance |
| Any questions? |
| Can't ignore Pope John Paul II in this country. |
These last pictures are from park Generała Jana Henryka Dąbrowskiego.
This is unofficially my favorite park (so far).
| Finally, from park Imienia 3 Dywizji Piechoty |
So here's an idea of the beautiful autumn I see in Kołobrzeg. Of course, the pictures don't really do justice to the places.
Wondering about the names of the places? Go to Google; that's how I got them.
