Ride from Kołobrzeg to Koszalin (7.Oct.)

Oh my. Looking at the date these pictures were taken, and then looking at the day I'm publishing this post . . . oh boy, I've got a lot of catching up to do . . .

It was a lovely day, and I decided to document my weekly trips to Koszalin from Kołobrzeg.

Kołobrzeg's train station

Kołobrzeg's bus terminal (right beside the train station)

Do you know what it says? I don't.

Koszalin train station. The bus terminal is right beside it too.

Buses coming. So you can see the frequency of buses to the train station/bus terminal.

This bus schedule says a lot.

The above picture of the bus schedule from Zakopane to Kołobrzeg says a lot. Kołobrzeg is one of the northern-most cities in north-central Poland. Zakopane is one of the southern-most cities in south-central Poland. Basically, this bus goes through the middle of the entire country of Poland (not really in a direct line, but close enough). It also takes the bus over 14 hours to cross the length of the country. As this bus schedule shows, Poland is HUGE (a lot bigger than most people think).

Seriously, how cool is this?

As the last few pictures suggest, this is at night. I'm in Koszalin all day and get back to my apartment after dark--especially now that the sun has been setting around 18:00 this past week.

Next, are a few pictures of autumn here in Kołobrzeg--and also in Koszalin.
